Hen Party

Last weekend I joined Nanas friends Hen Party here in London with my new Nikon D700. A good chance to see how it will be performing in very dark places.

The location was perfect. No windows,just some flashing disco lights.

And indeed, the Nikon did not let me down. As it was to expect the ISO went up to 6400.



Normally a light sensitivity where nearly all cameras fail by creating very noisy pictures.




Not so the Nikon. In combination with a 50mm 1.8 lens I had a decent shutter speed to freeze the action of the dancing people, nearly without noise.






















The 50mm 1.8 lens created a nice shallowed depth of field

All in all quite impressive.
