I have been at the Canon Pro Solution Event here in London. For me it was like a huge playground where I could finally see and touch all the things I mostly just know from the Internet. I could for example do some test shots with a £10.000 Hasselblad camera.
Furthermore they offered some workshops on how to work with studio equipment:

But the main events were the seminars, held by some of the best UK photographer. I was lucky to join Lorenzo Aguis' seminar about fashion photography (people were queuing):

Later during the day Jeff Ascough (UK's best wedding photographer) came along to present short 'live' photography sessions on the exhibition floor:

and later the main seminars in the AV suites. At his live presentation, people were standing seven lines deep, and both of his seminars were packed.

So to sum it up, even if I'm a "Nikon shooter", I am really glad I went; I could try some great products and attend some seminars - what could be better? Hopefully next year I can go again.
