Nana's birthday present this year: Photo shooting Marathon ! 10 Models in 2 hours in a kind of photostudio. Photostudio means a room with a white backdrop and 1 softbox. That's it. Anyway it was fun, but you don't have really control about what's going on. The best would be here tethered shooting. I used for the very first time my light meter reader. Does a good job and you have a point to start from. At the end I realized it's all harder then thought. Posing and light direction is everything. I felt as well quite limited with my lenses. Now I understand why they use so often 100-200mm. You get a nice narrowed depth of field. At the end I shot everything with my 50mm.
I ended up with 200 shoots and as always - 90% went into the rubbish bin. But at the end I'm quite happy with the outcome and I think it was for everybody a nice experience.
